Situated on the banks of the Thames alongside Tower Bridge, this highly sensitive site is a collection of Grade I and Grade II Listed structures located opposite the World Heritage site surrounding the Tower of London.
In order to secure the long term future of these buildings, the Bridgemaster’s various functions will be rationalised within the restored and extended red brick house, releasing the lower level workshops and yards for retail and restaurant use.
Public access to original industrial artefacts and spaces with intriguing views into the adjacent Victorian Engine Rooms will offer new ways of enjoying and appreciating this world famous monument.
